Masterclass Education have been tasked in recruiting for a unique role, a 1:1 Teacher to work with a Year 5 pupil, with additional needs, within a mainstream Primary school.
As a 1:1 Teacher, the successful candidate will have the appropriate knowledge to adapt the lesson planned by the teacher to meet the pupil’s needs, inform the class teacher of observations and progress. No planning involved!
They are a 1 form entry primary school, with a great outdoor space, forest school and currently hold a ‘Good’ Ofsted and strive to become ‘outstanding’. They provide a happy and safe place where the children enjoy learning. They have a “no homework” policy which they feel has contributed to the children feeling less pressured and more productive whilst in school.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
The ideal candidate:
- Holds QTS (the school is happy to consider ECTs for the role)
- Are knowledgeable across KS1 and KS2
- Are positive, inspiring, and upbeat
- Are drivers or very good with public transport
