We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join an outstanding Autism Specialist Education Centre as an Autism Support Worker just outside Bramley. There are fully funded training opportunities available to make sure that you reach your full potential, and you will be well supported by management and colleagues.

The centre offers extensive fully funded training opportunities, such as:

  • Teaching or TA qualifications
  • Industry training in Crisis Intervention, Epilepsy, Safeguarding, First Aid & Administering Medication
  • Registered Behaviour Technician qualification
  • Completion of the UK ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) Education Competence Framework, and more.

You will be encouraging and enabling learning and development in all aspects of daily life, whether that is on site at the centre, or out in the community. You will be promoting positive personal choices and supporting the independence of the children and young people in your care. You will be providing 1:1 support to enable the students to access individualised learning programmes, which will include:

  • Life Skills
  • Communication Skills
  • Social Skills
  • Anger and Anxiety Management
  • Vocational Skills
  • Creative and Performing Arts
  • Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT

It’s important to note that this is a Monday to Friday 8.30 to 15.30 role, and your own means of transport is essential due to rural location.
