Job Title: Blended Learning Teaching Assistant
Location: West Sussex (Various Homes)
Salary: £85.02 – £95.02 + Travel allowance
Job Type: 4.5 days per week 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP – Term Time only
Are you an experienced & resilient teaching assistant who would like a change from a classroom environment.
Masterclass are working with a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) multi-site educational setting who require a teaching assistant to provide support to students across various home settings. As a Blended Learning Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the teaching and learning process ensuring you provide individualised support to enhance student learning and to ensure they continue to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students and providing guidance to enable them to complete their lesson fully.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and students.
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents regarding online learning activities.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities related to blended learning.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
- Holds GCSE’S in Maths & English grade A*-C 4-9 or equivalent
- Resilience to deal with challenging situations
