COVER SUPERVISOR
Masterclass Education are currently working with a Secondary School in the Worthing who are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join them on a Temp to Perm basis.
This role will be working within an established team of Cover Supervisors and Supply Teachers supervising pre-planned lessons and managing classroom activities across the school day. This role is usually in place to cover sickness or planned absence within a school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Follow the lesson plans provided by the teacher and ensure that students are engaged in learning
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students
- Assist students with their work and provide guidance when needed
- Manage student behaviour and enforce school policies
- Communicate with teachers, parents, and school administrators as necessary
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding student progress and behaviour
To be considered for this position, candidates are required to have:
- A degree, ESOL or TESOL Certificate
- Experience leading classes or groups ideally within an education setting
- An understanding of the UK Curriculum
