Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for English language and literature, inspiring students to develop their language skills, critical thinking abilities, and creativity. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel.
- Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a love for literature and language through innovative teaching methods and activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and enrichment opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field (and QTS).
- Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic success.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the classroom.
