English Teacher – Inspire the Next Generation of Readers and Writers
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team in Horsham. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to explore literature, language, and communication in a way that nurtures their critical thinking and creativity.
✏️ The Role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Foster a love of reading, writing, and language among students
- Promote independent thinking, creativity, and confidence through engaging classroom activities
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
- Support students in developing literacy skills and preparing for exams
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3/KS4, KS5 experience an advantage)
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to encouraging a love of literature and writing in students of all abilities
