IT Teacher – SEN School

Are you passionate about making technology accessible and engaging for all learners?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative IT Teacher to join a specialist SEN school that supports students with a range of complex needs, including Autism, SEMH, and learning difficulties. You’ll be responsible for delivering a tailored IT curriculum that promotes digital literacy, creativity, and confidence in the use of technology.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and deliver engaging IT lessons that meet the diverse needs of SEN learners
- Support pupils’ individual learning plans and adapt content to different abilities
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and SENCO
- Create a safe and inspiring classroom environment
- Encourage students to develop independence, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working in SEN settings (preferred)
- Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching IT
- Patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting diverse learners
