Masterclass Education support many primary schools across Worthing and surrounding areas with their staffing needs from on the day supply to long term/ongoing support.
Job Description:
As a Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students aged 5-7 years old. You will work collaboratively with our existing staff to ensure continuity in learning and maintain a positive classroom environment. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to manage your workload effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic lessons, left by the class teacher, in accordance with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
- Uphold the school’s policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with Key Stage 1 students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Flexible and reliable approach to work.
