Masterclass Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join a 2 form entry primary we school. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to students in Years 3 to 6, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development in a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
The school provides a joyful and inviting environment where the children can engage with their learning. They are looking for someone to join them before the current teacher retires to enable a smooth transition for both the children and you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students in Key Stage 2, following the national curriculum and school guidelines.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students in their learning, promoting active participation and independent thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities and projects that enrich the KS2 learning experience.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular communication about student progress, achievements, and areas for development.
- Uphold the school’s policies and procedures, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECTs welcome to apply!
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners, with a commitment to fostering their academic and personal development.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice.
