The Role
They are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our dedicated team and have asked Masterclass to assist with this. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a love of learning, and supporting the holistic development of our pupils. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver the curriculum, ensuring that all children make progress and feel valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Support the social, emotional, and academic needs of all pupils.
- Engage with parents and carers to foster strong home-school partnerships.
- Contribute to the wider school life and ethos, including extracurricular activities.
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. ECTs welcome to apply!
- Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils through creative and engaging teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
