About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join one of our school community. The successful candidate will inspire, challenge, and nurture pupils in Key Stage 1, ensuring they develop strong foundations in learning while fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
- Promote high expectations of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience or strong understanding of teaching within KS1.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young learners.
Desirable:
- Experience of working with pupils with diverse needs, including SEND.
- Knowledge of current educational initiatives and strategies in KS1.
- Willingness to contribute to whole-school initiatives and activities.
