Do you have experience working with challenging behaviour? Personal experience with someone who suffers with Social, emotional mental health? Or want to have a rewarding role, making a difference in a child’s life?

Empathy: Someone who can understand and be sensitive to the individual needs and circumstances of each student.

Flexibility: Show willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed, from administrative duties to direct student support.
- Positive Attitude and Enthusiasm:
Enthusiasm: Display a genuine interest in education and enthusiasm for helping students succeed.
Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive outlook, which can be infectious and help create a supportive learning environment.
4) Classroom Management Skills:
Behaviour Management: Assist in maintaining discipline and managing student behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
Engagement Techniques: Use strategies to keep students engaged and focused during lessons.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
Initiative: Take proactive steps to identify and address issues or challenges as they arise.
Creativity: Find innovative solutions to support student learning and engagement.
- Emotional Resilience:
Stress Management: Handle stressful situations calmly and maintaining emotional stability.
Support Networks: Utilise professional and personal support networks to stay resilient and effective in the role.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Must have:
- Previous experience in working within a similar role
- Level 3 preferred but not essential
- In date DBS certificate
- Ability to put boundaries in place and work with the child in a calm and approachable manner
