We work with a welcoming school who provide pupils with opportunities to achieve and celebrate their progress. They support, challenge and motivate their pupils to succeed. This amazing school wants their TAs to be part of the decision making that drives the school, provides outcomes for children and advocates for every child. They welcome their input in developing both the academic curriculum and the opportunities in their extra-curricular offer – bringing their own interests and passions to the table.
In the life of a TA no two days are the same and that no two young people are the same either. The students require very special adults who can support students with complex and challenging behaviours or additional educational needs such as Reading and Writing.
You will need to be resilient, persistent and solution focussed to meet the needs of the students and to do so they need to wear a lot of hats and be prepared to change them at a moment’s notice!
The Role:
- Supporting teachers in the classroom
- Working with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students
- Attending Trips
- Managing heightened behaviours and keeping children safe
- Conducting science experiments
- Making amazing displays
- Celebrating success

Availability:
- Monday – Friday (Full and Part Time)
- Must be available between 8.30 and 3.30
- Term Time only
Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- Positive, can-do attitude
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
