They are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teacher and the SENCO to provide individualised support and assistance to a year 4 pupil with special educational needs, helping to facilitate their participation and engagement in classroom activities and promoting their overall well-being.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all our candidates.
Job role:
- To support the children’s development across all areas of their development
- Support and encourage positive behaviour management
- Work with groups of children or individuals (1-1) to support the class teacher in specific lessons.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling children to feel relaxed and happy
- To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school
- To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be
- To be able to provide personal care if needed
