Masterclass are working with a superb SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health) school setting in the Burgess Hill area. They specialise in creating nurturing environments for students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Their mission is to provide high-quality education tailored to each student’s unique requirements. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the team and make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored and engaging maths lessons to students with SEMH needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised education plans that support both the academic and emotional well-being of your students.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher status (QTS) – ECT’s are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a SEMH environment.
- Have effective teaching strategies.
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
