At Masterclass, we have been tasked in recruiting a Midday Meals Supervisor for a wonderful SEN primary school in the Worthing area. They provide a happy and safe environment where the students can thrive in their education.
The school are looking for Midday Meals Supervisor to assist in supporting the children at lunch time. This could be assisting with feeding or encouraging to eat. You would then need to tidy up and then support on the playground. You will be fully immersed into the life of the school and encouraged to be proactive in your role alongside your colleagues. No experience is necessary but desired.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all our candidates.
Job role:
- To monitor and supervise the students during the lunch period.
- To assist in preparing the school lunches and then cleaning up.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling children to feel relaxed and happy.
- To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school.
- To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be.
- You will need to have an enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
