Job Title: Qualified Nursery/EYFS Assistant
Location: Rye, East Sussex
Salary: £80 – £90 daily rate
Contract: Permanent, Monday – Friday, Term time only.

Masterclass are working with a fabulous primary school/ preschool setting. They believe in creating a stimulating and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive at their own pace. They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who has previous experience in a primary school and a nursery setting. Promoting good knowledge of KS1.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education for children within our early years setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, working collaboratively with the Nursery/EYFS team to plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn through play.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, building strong partnerships to support children’s holistic development.
- Assist with the observation, assessment, and tracking of children’s progress, recording observations, and contributing to individual learning profiles.
- Promote positive behavior management strategies, encouraging children to develop self-regulation and social skills, and modelling respectful and inclusive behavior.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of enrichment activities and experiences, including outdoor play, outings, and special events.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a nursery and early years setting.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a clear understanding of child protection policies and procedures.

Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
