The school are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Manager to join their team and play a key role in promoting the wellbeing and development of our students.
About the Role
As Pastoral Support Manager, you will:
- Provide tailored support for students, addressing personal, social, and emotional needs.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure every student has access to the support they need to thrive.
- Lead and implement pastoral initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Monitor student attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing, and intervene where necessary to improve outcomes.
- Support safeguarding processes and uphold the highest standards of care and protection for students.
Qualifications and Experience
- Have experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be empathetic, approachable, and able to build trust with students and families.
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding practices and policies.
- Be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- (Desirable) Hold qualifications in education, counselling, or a related field.
