Job Title: Premises Coordinator
Location: Burgess Hill
Salary: £115 daily pay
Full Time -Immediate start!
Masterclass are seeking a proactive and organised Premises Coordinator to oversee the management of our school’s facilities and premises. The Premises Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and functionality of the school environment, as well as managing resources efficiently to support the needs of students, staff, and visitors.
The school has several sites across the West Sussex area who specialise in social emotional and mental health. Therefore, the successful candidate would need to be able to drive to visit the various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the school premises, including facilities maintenance, cleaning, and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of the school buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs and health and safety hazards.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work, liaising with contractors and external service providers as necessary.
- Manage the school’s security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed and monitoring expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices, conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate measures.
- Respond promptly to premises-related emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities management, premises coordination, or a related field, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, parents, and external contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with facilities management software is desirable.

- Ability to work well independently and as a team
