Salary: £150-£230
Full time hours: 08:30 – 17:00

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join our team and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs and will be committed to promoting inclusion and equality in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess tailored lessons and interventions to meet the individual learning needs of students with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with SEN.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
- Use a range of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to differentiate instruction and accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies and interventions as needed to ensure continued growth and development.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, discuss strategies for support at home, and promote partnership in their child’s education.
- Stay informed about best practices and developments in the field of special education, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a SEN teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and experience implementing effective strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
