Job Description:
Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for flexible work opportunities? Masterclass Education is seeking Supply Primary Teachers to join our pool of talented educators. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of primary schools across Worthing and surrounding area, covering short-term absences, maternity leaves, and other staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of primary year groups, adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of each class.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment, fostering engagement and participation among students.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a productive classroom atmosphere.
- Collaborate with school staff to support the continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Provide feedback to the school regarding student progress and any significant issues encountered during the assignment.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs welcome to apply!)
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings and cover various subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with students and school staff.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Organisational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work on short notice and willingness to travel to different schools within Worthing and Surrounding areas.
