Masterclass are seeking an experienced and dynamic Centre Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a thriving school we are working with in the Littlehampton area. This is currently on a temporary basis to cover sickness; however, it may lead to a more ongoing role. The Centre Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various administrative and logistical aspects, as well as promoting a positive and supportive environment for students, staff, and parents. The role will also involve covering for the head of school, when needed.

The school supports students with SEMH, (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) to ensure they excel within education, achieving their very best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall management of the school’s centre, including administrative tasks, facilities management, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise centre staff, including administrative personnel, receptionists, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with academic staff and department heads to support the implementation of educational programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors by implementing health and safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the school community, promoting teamwork, respect, and mutual support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in school administration, centre management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of educational policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Commitment to the school’s mission and values, with a passion for education and student welfare.
