Masterclass education are working with a Sheffield secondary school who are in need of a Food Technology teacher to cover a long term absence. This opportunity would be flexible to ECTs. or to experienced teachers who want to reduce administration and workload. Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them reach their full potential. If you have a love for education and enjoy working with children, we encourage you to apply.

Start: Easter 2024 (until the end of the academic year)

Pay: dependent on experience and teacher pay scale

Hours: 8:15 – 15:30 (full time/part time may be considered for a strong candidate)

Duties:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
– Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
– Provide instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
– Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
– Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior
– Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant information

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
– Teaching certification or licensure (QTS)
– Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience and the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
