Masterclass Education are looking for a Science Teacher in the Tower Hamlets area.

Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students across key stages. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of science curriculum standards, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic success and scientific literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic science lessons that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Teach a range of science subjects, including biology, chemistry, and physics, to students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology tools to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units, integrate real-world applications, and promote cross-curricular connections.
  • Participate in professional development activities and stay current with advancements in science education and pedagogical practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching science subjects to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of science curriculum standards and educational best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for science education and a commitment to inspiring students’ interest in STEM fields.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
