Secondary English Teacher – SEMH (QTS)

Masterclass are working with a superb secondary school whose aim is to provide an educational environment for every student to strive in, whilst identifying there social and emotional needs. The school boats some excellent features to assist their students and is only a short walk from the main train station.
As a SEMH (social emotional and mental health) teacher, the successful candidate will be able to show some flexibility and adaptability in their lesson planning to ensure you meet the needs of the individual students within the class.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher status (QTS) – ECT’s are welcome to apply.
- KS3 + 4
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a SEMH environment.
- Have effective teaching strategies.

Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
