About the Role:
- Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory lessons on food preparation, nutrition, and healthy eating.
- Ensure students develop essential cooking skills, food safety knowledge, and an understanding of the food industry.
- Prepare students for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition examinations.
- Maintain and manage kitchen equipment and ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Inspire creativity, problem-solving, and an appreciation for food science.
About You:
✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔️ Degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
✔️ Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level.
✔️ Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and exam board requirements.
✔️ Excellent classroom management and practical teaching skills.
✔️ Passionate about education, sustainability, and food innovation.
