Do you have a passion for inspiring creativity and self-expression in young people? Masterclass Education is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Performing Arts Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Eastbourne.
About the Role
As our Performing Arts Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons in Drama, Music, and/or Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5).
- Inspire students to develop confidence, teamwork, and a love for the performing arts.
- Organise and lead school productions, performances, and extracurricular clubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Foster students’ practical and theoretical understanding of the performing arts.
Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Music, or a related field, alongside QTS.
- Have experience teaching performing arts at secondary school level.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate students.
- Be creative, energetic, and passionate about the role of the arts in education.
- Have experience in organizing productions and working collaboratively with others.
