About the Role:
Masterclass Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PSHE Teacher to join our team in the Littlehampton and Chichester area. The school is passionate about its mission to help engage and engage the younger generation. This full-time role is ideal for a teacher passionate about supporting students’ personal, social, and emotional development while delivering engaging PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic) lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and meaningful PSHE lessons that meet curriculum requirements, tailored to the students’ needs.
- Helping students develop their personal well-being, social, and emotional skills through thoughtful and supportive instruction.
- Working with other teachers, support staff, and families to ensure students’ needs are met effectively.
- Collaborating with staff to develop and implement the PSHE curriculum in alignment with school values.
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures related to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection.
- Contributing to the school’s culture of professional development and supporting the Senior Leadership Team on health and safety matters.
- Selecting and using teaching resources effectively to enhance student learning.
- Managing timetabling and room assignments efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as psychology or sociology.
- A genuine passion for helping develop secondary students on a holistic level.
- The ability to manage challenging behaviour and adapt your classroom management strategy.
