Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-levels. You will play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential and fostering a love for English literature and language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and attainment.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in English or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably with a proven track record of student achievement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
