Masterclass Education are currently working with an “outstanding rated” independent Secondary School within the Brighton area that provides high quality education to a broad range of students from ages 11-18.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, your main focus will be:
- To support a wide range of students supporting learning, create a positive environment and add structure throughout the school day.
- Work closely to provide extra support to students who may have a range of needs, including but not limited to ADHD, Autism, emotional and mental health challenges.
- Help the teacher with lesson preparation and plans.
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Supervise students during breaks and school activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children, young or vulnerable adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships
- A calm and patient approach
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
