SEN Classroom Assistant – Make a Difference Every Day
Are you passionate about helping young people thrive in education? We’re looking for a dedicated and caring SEN Classroom Assistant to join a supportive school team in Littlehampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs (SEN), supporting them academically, socially, and emotionally within the classroom.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
- Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering inclusive learning activities
- Helping to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- Supporting students with communication, behaviour, and social interaction
- Encouraging student independence and confidence in their learning journey

- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in education, care, or youth settings)
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- A genuine interest in inclusive education and student wellbeing

Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Monday-Friday / 8.30-3.30 / Term time only
Salary: £89 a day
