SEN Primary Teacher – Inspire, Support, and Transform Young Lives
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a warm and inclusive specialist school in Worthing, West Sussex. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
About the Role:
- Plan and deliver creative, tailored lessons for pupils with a variety of needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that encourages learning and growth
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEN team
- Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional development
- Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to ensure individual success
✅ We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (in mainstream or specialist settings)
- Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
- A positive, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development
- Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
