Masterclass are working with a superb SEN school setting, based over multiple sites in the Crowborough area. These sites cover primary, secondary and a 6th form setting. The students have moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties or profound multiple learning difficulties. All the sites are well equipped to support the students to ensure they achieve the best they can during their schooling day. They promote a very welcoming atmosphere to work within.
They are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating effective teaching and learning experiences for students with special educational needs (SEN) across the school.
The ideal candidate:
- Hold QTS
- Have previous experience with SEN (personal, volunteer, work experience)
- Are drivers however, there is public transport.
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
