Masterclass Education are currently working with a fantastic school in the Wellingborough area that are looking to employ a primary SEN teacher.
We are looking for teachers with a passion for empowering children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. Experience teaching core subjects and/or following a primary model of teaching is beneficial!
Within this role you will be expected to…
- Safeguarding the children and young people in your care and advocating for their wellbeing
- Working alongside the curriculum to provide individualised support and learning for every student in your class.
- Planning engaging and creative lessons designed around the specific needs of your class.
- Providing knowledge and insight within EHCP’s and Annual Review’s about the progress of children in your class
The ideal candidate must have:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS) or extensive experience as an unqualified teacher
- Team Teach Qualification or Equivalent (preferred not required)
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
