SEN Teaching Assistant (Bank Staff)
Location: Crawley
Pay: £85 – £95 daily rate
Hours: Bank – Adhoc when cover is needed (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Masterclass are seeking compassionate and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join the bank staff team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis, providing essential support to students with special educational needs. As a bank staff member, you will be called upon to cover absences and provide additional assistance during peak times.

The school specialises in special educational needs and they are committed to ensuring every Primary aged student receives the individualised support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and engage fully in school activities.
- Individualised Learning: Assist in the development and implementation of EHCP’s (Educational health care plans) and other personalised learning strategies.
- Classroom Assistance: Work closely with teachers to support the learning environment, including preparing materials and facilitating activities.
- Behaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour management strategies to support student well-being and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO as required.
- Flexibility: Be available to work on short notice and adapt to different classroom settings and student needs.
- Commitment: Demonstrated passion for working with children with SEN and a commitment to their development and inclusion.
