Masterclass Education are currently working with a ‘Outstanding’ SEND school who are looking for a talented SEND teacher to join their growing team as soon as possible. This is a immediate start with the opportunity to continue on to September.
This is a special needs school based in the borough of Newham for students with speech and language difficulties. The school has students from KS1 to KS4 and have small class sizes with a maximum of 8 students per class. The school take pride in being modern school with state-of-the-art facilities. They are also known for their staff retention and promote an ethos of ‘togetherness’ which is reflected in the schools recent ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report in 2021.
The school are looking for a special needs teacher to work either in their primary or secondary section of the school. Previous SEND experience is preferred but not essential as there will be training provided by the school. Mainstream primary and secondary teacher are encouraged to apply, the school are also willing to consider ECT’s for this post. If you are a teacher who has an interest and passion for working with students with special needs, then this could be the role for you.

The Role
– Working with students KS1-KS4
– Teaching class of up to 8 students
– Planning and marking student work
– Reviewing students’ progress
– Managing and directing teaching assistants in your class
– Liaising with SLT and parents
– Working with speech and language therapist
