Masterclass are working alongside a fantastic SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) multi-site school whose aim is to support their students to feel valued and gain access to learning through a personalised programme, individual to them. The candidate must be able to drive and have access to a car as they will be required to cover more than one site, however this is only during the exam period.
As the Senior Exams & Data Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating all aspects of examinations administration and data management within the school. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of examinations, as well as maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and administration of all internal and external examinations, including GCSEs, A-levels, and vocational qualifications.
- Liaise with examination boards, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with examination regulations and requirements.
- Manage the examination timetable, scheduling, and allocation of examination venues, invigilators, and resources, ensuring all arrangements are in place for smooth conduct of examinations.
- Coordinate the processing and submission of examination entries, including candidate registrations, entries, and amendments, adhering to examination board deadlines and requirements.
- Supervise the conduct of examinations, providing guidance and support to invigilators and examination staff, and ensuring compliance with examination regulations and security procedures.
- Oversee the processing and distribution of examination results, working closely with relevant staff and departments to ensure accurate and timely release of results to students and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of examination data, including candidate information, results, and examination outcomes, ensuring data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in examinations administration and/or data management within an educational setting, with a sound understanding of examination regulations and procedures.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity and compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in the use of examination and data management systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
