Masterclass Education are currently looking for talented teaching assistants for our open opportunities in the borough of Hillingdon.
A modern school based in the Heathrow area are currently looking for several staff to join their school as soon as possible. This is a special needs schools for students aged 16-25 for students with autism. The school focus on preparing students for adulthood and teach life skills and promote independence. This school also has two core subjects ‘catering’ and ‘horticulture’ where students grow and cook their own produce.
This is a long-term opportunity to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year with a view for this to continue in September depending on performance. The role is Monday -Thursday 9.00am – 4.30pm with students usually off-site doing work placements on a Friday.
Previous school-based experience is desired but not essential, if you have childcare experience in other areas such as sports coaching, tutoring, mentoring, care assistants, nursery assistance or any other relevant experience would be beneficial.
The Role
– Working with students KS3-Post 16

– Open to outdoor learning
– Engaging in the wider responsibilities across the school such as lunch cover, assemblies etc
