Job Title: Supply Teaching Assistant – Primary

About the Role:
We are looking for passionate and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of schools across Worthing and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want flexible working arrangements. As a supply teaching assistant, you will provide essential support to both teachers and students, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist with the management of classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain focused.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
- Assist in setting up activities and preparing learning materials.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all pupils.
- Supervise students during break times or off-classroom activities as required.
- Help maintain accurate records and report feedback to the class teacher.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of the primary or secondary curriculum is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to work in a variety of school environments.
- Positive, patient, and caring attitude towards children.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
