Masterclass Education are working with a local, wonderful SEN all through School who boast state of the art facilities and advanced CPD for their teaching staff. The school is a fantastic place to work with the students making each day unique!
The school is based in beautiful surroundings where students are encouraged to study and get involved in many outdoor and indoor activities, there are also vast amounts of equipment and resources. The staffing group are a talented forward-thinking body who enjoy the additional CPD, and opportunities provided for them.
The head would like to recruit Support Worker to work with children and young adults who have additional needs. You will be working 1:1 with a student or in small groups in and out of formal lessons, with support from Teacher. You will be fully immersed into the life of the school and encouraged to be proactive in your role alongside your colleagues.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Job role:
- To support the children’s development across all areas of their development
- Support and encourage positive behaviour management.
- Work with an individual (1-1) or small groups to support the class teacher in specific lessons.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling pupils to feel relaxed and happy.
- To establish positive relationships with the children and staff within the school
- To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be.
- To be able to provide personal care if needed.
