Masterclass Education is currently partnering with an outstanding rated independent Primary School in the Chichester area, which offers high quality education to a diverse group of pupils aged 4–11.
This is an excellent entry level opportunity for those looking to begin a career in education, or for experienced Teaching Assistants seeking a school that genuinely prioritises support for every learner.
As a Teaching Assistant, your main focus will be:
- To support a wide range of students supporting learning, create a positive environment and add structure throughout the school day.
- Work closely to provide extra support to students who may have a range of needs, including but not limited to ADHD, Autism, emotional and mental health challenges.
- Help the teacher with lesson preparation and plans.
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Supervise students during breaks and school activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children, young or vulnerable adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships
- A calm and patient approach
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Must have:
- Ability to work well independently and as a team
- Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
