Role and Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support Classroom Learning: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Individualized Support: Work closely with students, providing one-on-one or small group support to enhance their learning experience.
- Progress Monitoring: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain records.
- Behavior Management: Help create a positive and respectful classroom environment by managing student behavior effectively.
- Inclusion and Well-Being: Support students with additional needs, including those with special educational requirements.
- Extracurricular Activities: Participate in school events, outings, and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or experience working in a primary school setting.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and empathy.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in inspiring young learners.
