Masterclass Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of primary school students, providing assistance both in and out of the classroom.
Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Prevent, Violence Reduction, and more, to all of our candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, working with individuals and small groups of students.
- Support students with their learning and personal development, including those with special educational needs or English as an additional language.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Prepare and maintain classroom resources, including materials and equipment for lessons and activities.
- Supervise students during break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children, preferably within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Basic understanding of child development and learning processes.
- Willingness to undertake any necessary training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
