Masterclass Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Primary Teacher to join the dynamic team at one of our amazing 2 form entry primary schools in the Crawley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our Year 2 students, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students in the Year 2 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of each student.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and respectful classroom culture.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay informed about best practices in primary education.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities, school events, and collaborative projects.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ECTs welcome to apply!
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on Key Stage 1 (Year 2).
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom resources effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning.
