They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Primary School Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Year 4 students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and values. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds, foster academic growth, and contribute to the holistic development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that align with the Year 4 curriculum and educational objectives.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to learn, explore, and succeed.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special educational needs and English language learners.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance learning and promote active participation.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects, thematic units, and enrichment activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress, share learning experiences, and address any concerns.
  • Participate in school-wide events, professional development opportunities, and collaborative planning sessions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • QTS (ECTs welcome to apply!)
  • Proven experience teaching primary school students, preferably in Year 4 or similar age group.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum, educational principles, and best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school community.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
