Safeguarding .
The safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of everyone; however, working closely with schools and educators MCE acknowledges that they have a direct duty of care in the protection of children and young people.
MCE prioritises safeguarding and take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for all children and young people, we do this by offering support to our clients through robust recruitment practices that are lawful and follow the guidance of KCSIE, we guarantee that all necessary vetting checks have been undertaken and always assess each candidate’s suitability for a role. For our candidates we offer CPD training on relevant courses for free, encouraging them to refresh these regularly, all candidates are supplied guidance on safeguarding and a copy of KCSIE that they must read.
The welfare of children and young people is paramount to our business, it is embedded within our values and culture, as we know that every child has the right to be safe from harm, feel valued and be happy. MCE are committed to following best-practice and will work hard to prevent all kinds of harm, always with the best interest of children and young people.
Our contribution to safeguarding it vital, and we ensure that all our staff, candidates and clients recognise and understand it’s importance, please see our Safeguarding policy and Safer Recruitment & Vetting Policy that will provide more information on our current approaches and strategies.
