REC Audited Status

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) is a non-profit organisation, established in 1930. They are the professional body for UK recruitment businesses, and their aim is to improve the standards and reputation of recruitment as well as being the voice of the recruitment industry. The REC provide their members with the required tools and knowledge to effectively manage their business and ensures that they behave professionally, by observing the highest principles.

Master Class Education has been a member of the REC since 2007, and since 2019 have achieved and maintained the REC Audited Status, this means that MCE are regularly inspected by an REC associate, to ensure we are conducting our business lawfully, ethically and to the highest standard. As REC members we are obliged to comply with their code of conduct, which can be found here https://www.rec.uk.com/recruiters/compliance/code-professional-practice.

Crown Commercial Services (CCS)

The DfE and CCS developed a framework specifically designed for schools, to enables them to recruit Teachers, Teaching assistants and all Educational Support Staff, at the best value and with the assurance that all necessary compliance processes are adhered to. MCE are proud to have been 1 of the 103 successful agencies to secure a place on the CCS framework; to be awarded a place MCE had to undergo a comprehensive tender process, during which background checks were conducted, and evidence collected to certify that we can appropriately support clients, are accurately vetting candidates and could demonstrate our commitment to meeting the requirements of schools and candidates.

MCE are regularly reviewed to ensure we are performing well and meeting our obligations.
