Information for Teachers.
With over half of current teachers looking for jobs to move on from the profession this year, it’s clearly time to consider a new approach to education recruitment. That’s where Master Class Education comes in!

We’ll find you the type of contract which you want, whether that’s long term, supply or permanent, and because we look after our staff, we’ll only ever offer you what would work for you. We can even link you up with another educator to get you up and running or offer you access to the latest CPD and resources once you’re in the job.
There’s no need to worry about pay when you work for us either. We make sure all our staff are paid well and receive really competitive rates. You’ll be paid on time when you expect it. Want to help us out? We offer generous finders’ bonuses of up to £250 if you can introduce us to teachers and support staff who want to come aboard.
If you’re coming to work for us, we want to be sure that we’re offering establishments the best candidate, so your paperwork will need to be in order. If you’re coming along to meet us for a chat, you’ll need to bring:
- Photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence
• Another form of ID, e.g. your birth certificate
• 2 separate proofs of address, i.e. a bank statement, council tax or utility bill
• Documentation (Original, not a photocopy) showing proof of a teaching qualification and GTC registration, translated into English if necessary
• Marriage certificate, if relevant
• Your National Insurance (NI) card, or proof of a NI number
• Your current CV
• Bank account details for payment
• Proof of DBS clearance
We’ll ask you for the contact details or three referees, one of which must be someone who has assessed your work in your most recent post, or your training establishment if you’re an NQT. We’ll also need a list of any addresses you’ve lived at during the past five years.
If you’re from outside the UK, you’ll need proof of your eligibility to work and reside in the UK, and criminal clearance from your home country.
As you’ll be working with young people you will need a full DBS which we are able to facilitate. We’ll run a List 99 check, on all our educators, something which all education establishments consider an essential before you step through their door.
