This vacancy has arisen due to the continued growth of the department and increased student uptake in Art and Creative subjects, offering an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant academic community and inspire students through visual expression and creative exploration.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Art, you will:
• Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience
• Teach a range of disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, and digital art
• Encourage creativity, experimentation, and the development of individual artistic styles
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Contribute positively to departmental development, exhibitions, and wider school enrichment activities
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or have relevant subject expertise
• Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and visual culture
• Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
• Enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting students beyond the classroom
