Art Teacher – SEMH School
Crawley Area | KS3 & KS4 | September Start | Full-Time
We are working with a specialist SEMH school in the Crawley area that is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire and engage students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs through creative expression, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and achieve positive outcomes.
The Role:
- Deliver Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of individual learners.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach.
- Previous experience working within an SEN and/or SEMH environment is desirable.
